My giving comes into place from God because I know the talent is not mine, it all comes from God who lives inside me. When business is slow for the rest of the car dealerships, I know God is going to find the next profitable deal for me…and he does every time. That is how generous giving blesses our life everyday.”

“We are so blessed everyday. We quit our jobs to start our own company one month ago. We worked for the same company. My husband designed house plans and I sold them. We had an opportunity start our own company and do the same thing we had been doing. We stepped out in faith knowing that God would be faithful with us. Doors have opened for us and we know it is because we have been faithful in our giving. We are working hard to get our doors open. We have about 50 homes sold and we don’t even have our doors open yet. We have continued to give our tithe even though we have not paycheck…yet! We know God is blessing our new business and we thank him everyday. We are excited about what the future holds and the giving we will be able to give to the House. We are blessed!

“This was my first Liberty Offering and I’ve attended Champion Centre since the end of 2004. It was as powerful as I have always heard it to be. Even more, I began my personal relationship with God 7 years ago and have gone to church my entire life. As I watched everyone and everything around me tears streamed down my face uncontrollably as I watched the screens reveal our achieved goal of $700,000. It made me think about how the Grinch may have felt as his heart grew bigger and bigger. I felt my faith grow so big inside me that the joy made me feel like bursting! Halleluah! I can’t wait ‘til next year. I don’t just want to double my offering, but I want to give ten times more than what I gave today! Thank you Pastors and your staff for making giving so easy.”

“When my husband and I gave our first Liberty Offering 2 years ago, we had just lost our business and things were not good in our finances and our relationship. We did not have any income, but we did have $10 in our pocket and decided we would just trust God with it. A few months later our relationship was healed and my husband received a new job that we believe was sent by God. At the next Liberty Offering we had been without work for half the year. Because of the bills that accrued, we hadn’t prepared for Liberty Offering. We still wanted to give and thought 2% of our income that year was $200, so we would give $300. On the way home we realized we hadn’t saved any gas money for the week and my husband’s commute is from South Hill to Bellevue everyday. We told ourselves, “God will provide for our needs”. When we got home there was a note and check pinned to the door from someone who owed us money…just enough to cover a week’s worth of gas! One month later my husband received his commission check for his May sales. This one check alone was more than his entire annual income for the year before! 2005 was financially a banner year for our household. My husband’s income was 3 times more than it had ever been and we know it was because we chose to trust and believe, “God will provide for all our needs”. We’ve been faithful to the house with our tithes, offerings and time in the children’s ministry. Needless to say, we are looking forward to another Liberty Offering this year.”

“We are in receipt of a letter regarding a pre-offering and a potential 20% increase this year in our liberty offering. We are writing to inform you that we happily decided 6-8 months ago that we’re going to double last years’ effort. Yes, we are increasing by 100% for the third time in the three years we have been giving to liberty offering. We are very excited about the blessings we have been given over the last few years. We have made the decision every year to double the last offering, and in return, amongst so many blessings other than the monetary ones, our income has equally doubled every year. We really see God working in our life and He has been so faithful. We can’t wait to see what He wants us to accomplish this year.”

“We wanted to share our Liberty 500 story with you that it might encourage givers next year. We moved to Tacoma last summer and began attending Champions Centre within a few months. Immediately we felt at “home”. The jobe we had this past year were great although they didn’t pay very much. When we bought a home in December our salaries were stretched very thin. My husband andI are champions and when Liberty Offering came around we went big (for us) and pledged $200 above our tithe. We knew that God would bless our decision to do it and the details didn’t matter. Jus as some great friends say, “The facts don’t count.” We only had $50 of our pledge in May to start with and weren’t able to complete our offering until June. It is now the end of July and we both started new jobs this past month with salaries that have DOUBLED our prior year’s income! We attribute it all to giving God the opportunity to open up ways of blessing us since we first trusted Him and acted on our faith. We love being members of Champions Centre and getting the opportunity to be a part of really big things like this. Thank you Kevin and Sheila!”

“This year (2005) my son, who served in Iraq and is now home, was explaining to me how they did not get regular paychecks, but instead received cash advances while in Iraq. This last pay period (4/30/05) he told me he did not receive his pay. He had car and rent payments to make! He applied for a loan and asked me to please pray he would receive it. So…Monday, May 2nd he went to see about the loan and they told him he was approved, however, there was something on his record for a bill he did not know about. It turned out this bill was paid for two years as a savings account had been set up so the payments would never stop. There was $2,000.00 in the account! My son said, “you know Mom, I went to church and gave all I had to Liberty Offering…” I knew what had happened! For me it was not about the money – it was about God moving in my son’s life. To me God moves where He can get your attention. My son had not been to church since his return from Iraq. Praise God!! My son plans to be there this Sunday if he is well (He was involved in a car bombing last year and has had trouble ever since). God is good. He knows what you need. Thanks for the wisdom in doing what God leads you in doing.”
